Jayamangali River Rejuvenation Program
ORDER is associated with Tumkur University and Dhanya Trust-Tumkur for organising Jayamangali River Rejuvenation workshop at Tumkur University on 16.05.2026 by involving all Government departments, KVK and public to make awareness on conservation and management of River basin. The workshop is intended to protect illegal encroachment/ waste dumping and sand mining activities all along river basin and also create awareness among public and village community located around river basin area for their responsibility and ownership to retain good soil, water and bio-diversity at river network area.
A small booklet development by Dhaya trust on Jayamanagali river past & present situation is published during the workshop. A well known environmentalist, conservation expert & journalist Sri. Shivananda Kalave was participated and spoke on importance of River rejuvenation & management for community well being.
Sparrow Nestathon
During March 2026 with active collaboration with Suzlon, ORDER executed a targeted CSR initiative titled "Sparrow Nestathon" across all project villages. Designed to combat the pressing ecological challenge of a dwindling bird population, the campaign successfully fostered grassroots biodiversity conservation by actively engaging the community in the creation and installation of safe avian habitats.
Through hands-on workshops, participants utilized carton boxes to construct secure bird nests, which were then systematically distributed and installed across the region. This community-driven effort successfully resulted in distribution & installation of 5,600 nests. It makes a meaningful environmental impact focused on boosting local sparrow numbers, restoring natural habitats, and instilling a strong culture of environmental stewardship among local stakeholders.
World Environment Day
World Environment Day was celebrated successfully on 5th June 2026 with Suzlon team at Tippnal Suzlon office and GovernmentHigher Primary School at Hiremannapura, and the Government High School at Dotihal village. This impactful environmental campaign engaged students, teachers, and corporate volunteers in three core ecological activities.
First executive forestry plant plantations were carried out across the school campuses and the Suzlon site to enhance green cover and foster a deep sense of environmental stewardship among the youth. Second, a rigorous plastic collection drive was organized to clear out single-use plastics and non-biodegradable litter from the grounds and surrounding areas, promoting proper waste management. Finally, artificial sparrow bird nests were installed in safe, stragetic locations to combat habitat loss and suport the conservation of local avian wildlife.
Together, these coordinated efforts created a lasting, positive impact on both the local ecosystem and the communities involved
Home Solar System
ORDER has identified 25 poor families not having electricity services for the domestic activities in the remote villages of Sira taluk and collaborate with Selco Foundation to provide solar light system to the families with Rs 3000/- contribution of each family additional Rs 9000/- is promoted by Selco with private fund partner. Three lights solar system are provided with solar panel and battery. Most of them are living in small roof and thatched house, this program has given more satisfaction and smile on the face poor families and many of the school going children are happy to study under the bright light for their bright future.
Solar Street Lighting Program
Five solar lights in each village are installed in 5 vilages namely Gopaladevarahalli, Benche, Basavanahalli, Sidlekone and Katamala in Sira Taluk of Tumakuru for installing street lights. In each of these five villages, five locations have been identified in collaboration with the community for installing four 12.5 Watt lights and one 15 Watt light. Some borad criteria followed by NGO and community for identofying for solar street light light installation
Community Feedback : Kumari Bharthi studying bachelor degree having her house close to solar street light located in Benche village, where the three streets coincide. She xepressed that the families living around are very poor and requested many time to put one electric street light at the point, unfortunately no had helped to put the light. All women and age old people has to move outside in the night for getting any small requirement to their family have to move to another street are facing problem of darkness. Forutunately this solar street light is put on every night and light will spread to all the tree sides fo the street to pass easily to each other street. Power cut is regular almost 1-2 hour in the night due to rain or shortage of power supply. The solar street light helped un in many ways for moving outside to get water, grocery items and for meeting together

Volunteers visit to Ammanaghatta for natural farming activity
35 Volunteers from London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) company are visited to Mr. Mahesh a natural farming land at Ammanagatta on 9th September 2023 to learn and understand the concept of natural Farming System to produce quality food crops without harming physical, biological and chemical proerties of the soil for sustainable crop production. The program hs been scheduled to learn, understand and prctical demonstration of natural farming activities. Mr. mahesh explained the importance of Natural farming and its benifits to humankind for having quality food, life and health through pracitcins narutal farming using local available resources.
Volunteers has been taken to land visit and showed different farming activities like biomass mulching, begetable cultivation, multi cropping system and volunteers are involved in preparation of land for vegetable cultivation, manure application, seed and seedlings transplanting activities.
Cleanliness Drive
Cleanliness drives are conducted in 10 villges through active participation of community, VDC members and local panchayats members. Dustbins are placed in the villages to dump waste generated at public places, steel hooks are given to VDC to collect plastic waste and cleanliness programs are conducted regularly with the help of SHG members, VDC and local panchayat members.
Tree plantation is one of the major activities taken in 3 villages under project support and bio-fuel development board. 25000 different forestry species are planted at WTG project site, Hassan. Plantation program is nade through involvement of VDC, scouts and guides Hassan, Bio-fuel park Hassan. Basin and taking for each plant is completed at all locetion.
CONCERN INDIA Foundation Programs
Two day program for volunteers of Thamson Reaturees Company, Bangalore is conducted with Concern India Foundation from 6th to 7th september 2019. Around 34 volunteers visited to Sri Mallikarjun Rural High School, Kuppalu Village in Tiptur Taluk, Tumakuru District as part of their voluntary service for rural development.
Volunteers are actively involved in painting of 6 classrooms of Rural High School and made primary coat painting, around 6 volunteers are involved in writing pictures (Art) in School corridor space with support of experienced artists. Before painting school department was actively take part in cleaning, washing, and filling of wall gaps with support of local painters. Primary coat painting in school corridor and outline of picture works has been taken with the help of professional artist. Around 6 volunteers are involved in pitting and planting of 6 trees in school campus and planting was donr with involvement of all volunteers and students.
2nd coat painting and art work in corridor portion was done by volunteers. Final finishing workof art and remaining painting work is completed by skilled painter school visit program is concluded by awarding best three students in each competition which are rating by teachers and NGO staff. Finally volunteer's feedback on two day program was taken and they expressed happiness about the support extended by the volunteers.
Community toilet for School
Renovation work started after work execution committee meeting called for discussion in the presence of G V Raghu, project Director-ORDER, Tumakuru, on requirement, material purchase, identifying skilled labours, implementation adn monitoring of works. It was planned to complete all theworks by end of December 2019, and advance amount wa sapid to Mr. Ravikumar for purchase of all required materials for toilet renovation. Identified skilled mason, plumber, carpenter and painter, work started form 10th December and completed by 31st December 2019.

Some more Charity works
Support for flood affected families : We had provided kitchen utensils, mats, water storage steel pods for 85 poor families of Kesroli village, Haliyala Taluk of Uttara Kannda district and chairs and school bags for primary school students with financial contribution of board members and ORDER trust.
Support for smart class : ORDER has provided LCD projector to Sri Mallikarjunaswamy Rural High School, Kuppalu, Tiptur taluk for conducting smart classes for 8th , 9th and 10th standard students.
Work for covid-19 : We had provided masks for 2000 people of 16 villages and conducted social distance and sanitation awareness of all of them in NABARD supported TDF and watershed project villages of Tumakuru and Hassan District. Tumuakuru district administration appreciated our awareness service during Covid-19 as Corona Warriors.
